LACC's OBJECTIVES ARE:
1. Protect and conserve the natural resources of Lake Arrowhead water, land, and lake quality.
2. Assist the Lake Arrowhead Community and similar lake communities within the state of Maine , with knowledge, resources and education regarding the protection and conservation of lake, land, and water resources.
3. Extend and develop public interest in the understanding of aquatic plant management, the protection of water and lake quality, and the preservation of natural habitats for plants, fish, and wildlife within Lake Arrowhead and similar lake communities within the state of Maine .
4. Conduct research and develop strategies for citizens and lake front owners to utilize in the protection of natural resources and habitats within Maine ’s lakes, streams, rivers, ponds and watersheds.
5. Encourage and assist in the development and maintenance of a volunteer work force committed to achieving the goals of the Corporation and the preservation of Lake Arrowhead natural resources.
6. Provide advocacy, education and awareness for policy and decision-makers in business, the private sector, local, state, county and federal governments.
7. Seek grant and charitable funding and solicit donations necessary to achieve the goals and promote the interests of the corporation.
8. Cooperate with local, state, regional and national chapters of other organizations and agencies with similar and related interests.

09/26/2011 - The LACC Annual Meeting has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 1 PM at Clubhouse 2. We hope to see as many members as possible!

08/29/2011 - The LACC Annual meeting was cancelled on Saturday (and Sunday) due to Tropical Storm Irene.  We will post the new date as soon as we nail it down.

19 Boats participated and APB raised $870 for LACC. THANK YOU APB!!
 

LACC also received a $100 donation from the Northeast Bassmasters run by Wayne Hooper

 
The Annual Meeting for LACC is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday August 27th at 7 PM at the Fitzpatrick residence barring weather. Reminder that the LACC Golf tournament is coming up and if you are still interested in playing, please contact trustee Phil Oreto at phil.oreto@comcast.net. The date is scheduled for Friday August 26th.

Membership Renewal Notices - They have been mailed and you should be receiving them shortly. We know times are tough, but please return them with your dues. Your renewals are crucial to our survival for running the harvesters, emplacing barriers and getting state assistance.
